what is your profession
so as a guy, i really like those cleverly manly moments in stories or movies that make you wanna be on "that guys" team or even be "that guy". i have posted a video from the movie 300 which shows one of those moments for me. as a christian, i want whoever i lead to respond back when i turn to them and ask "besideus, what is your profession?!?" to hear in one roaring militant reply "Jesus!" i also want to be in the crowd of warriors roaring as the one i follow asks me that question. enjoy. (by the way, i'm still learning this blog/video thing so just know the video i intended to show singly is the third one down from the top.) now...enjoy...

Sometimes I wanna stand up and scream at the top of my lungs..."Hoooahhh!" Or some other really cool war cry. Like, I picture a bunch of terrorists running in and telling everyone who is wiiling to deny Christ to leave, and that all others will be executed. And, in my imagination, I stand up to be the first in line to be shot down. The roar of passion to follow Jesus screams within me! And I feel exactly to what you are refering...but still, most of the time, I fail. In the everyday moments, when I could be screaming out war cries for Him, I fail. When I flip that B!#@h off on the road that cut me off...I fail...and I go down instead with a whimper and a cry.
In the end, I know it's a process. Nobody goes directly from munching potatoe chips, and slurpies, and playing video games to the front lines in Iraq. They first have to be trained. But still...all I gotta say is...thank God for His grace. Cause man do I ever screw it up. And thank God that He put people in my path to lead me into such passion...otherwise I might still be stuff on the couch with that bag of chips.
